Clockware's rules engine allows for complex automatic accrual calculations eliminating the need for manual calculations and improving accuracy.

Accrual calculations and tracking
When Employees use leave balances the system automatically makes a deduction from the appropriate balance. Employee requests that exceed balances can yield a system rejection or warning.

Custom rules by important criteria
Accruals can be calculated against any criteria such as Employee start date or length of service, worked hours, or their FTE (full-time equivalent) status.

Reporting
Reporting shows balances, accruals and balance usage by:
· Balance type
· Employee, or
· Group

Tracking leave balances & usage
Clockware provides maximum visibility into accruals and balances. Managers can monitor leave and authorize leave within certain system-wide or individual employee limits and Employees can check available leave balances real times.
